Email Scam Advisory

The CIO Sherpa Council is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and transparency in its communications. We have become aware of fraudulent emails being sent by unauthorized parties impersonating Council representatives. These emails may falsely claim to offer awards, memberships, partnerships, speaker opportunities, or other benefits on behalf of the Council.

Please be advised that any official communication from the CIO Sherpa Council will originate from verified email domains, such as @ciosherpacouncil.org. We do not solicit payments, request sensitive personal information, or promise services or recognitions via unverified third-party channels. If you receive a suspicious message, do not click on links, download attachments, or provide any personal data. Instead, forward the email to security@ciosherpacouncil.org so we may investigate and take appropriate action.

Your awareness and diligence are essential in helping us protect the integrity of the CIO Sherpa Council and our broader professional community. We thank you for remaining vigilant.
